These bumper plates were manufactured to have a good bounce when dropped and are meant for anyone who prefers to drop their weights during exercise.

Caution: 10 and 15 lb rubber bumper plates are less thick and weren't designed to be dropped from high levels all by themselves - 25 35 & 45 lb rubber bumper plates are designed to be dropped either on their own or in combination with the lighter weights. 

Not following these instructions will void the warranty on these bumper plates.
